911 Carrera Models

Timeless design, contemporary interpretation.

The harmony of tradition and modernity-the iconic flyline and the continuous light strip. The shape of the 911 is unmistakable because of its iconic flyline and elegant roof lines. These have characterized Porsche since 1963, as have sports cars with astonishing performance.

The 911 embodies Porsche DNA in its purest form: the long, flat bonnet, the steeply inclined windscreen. And the roof line that slopes gently down towards the rear, already characterized the original 911.

The Porsche 911 is every sports car enthusiast's dream. The latest generation of the 911 is a perfect pairing of tradition and modernity creating an adrenaline rush at the push of a button.

Set yourself apart from the crowd with an upgraded engine and advanced cockpit all designed for exceptional performance. The interior gives a nostalgic feel from the analog precision paired with the digital integration. This distinct combination keeps the 911 in the spotlight.

An icon in a world full of icons. The design of the 911 is timeless and its design language is universal because the principle behind it keeps it to the absolute essentials, right down to the last screw. Form follows function. The 911 continues to bring this tradition into the future with its long lineage.

Exterior

A design that unites traditional and modern. That ensures more dynamism on the road. And causes a sensation for everyone who follows the 911.

Typically 911: the long, flat hood, the steeply inclined windshield and the roof line that slopes gently down towards the rear. The fenders are more clearly shaped, the rear is powerful and clearly emphasizes the horizontal.

Interior

Analog precision combined with digital integration. The 911 interior combines old strengths with new possibilities and, as a sports car, is one thing above all: strictly designed for the driver.

The analog tachometer is positioned in the center of the instrument cluster and, therefore, always in the driver's line of sight. The ascending center console ensures short distances between steering wheel and gear level, and the intuitively placed switches and buttons. All for the unmistakable sensation of driving a 911.

High-resolution displays and touch-sensitive buttons, as well as clearly structured functions and content. Thanks to the Porsche Advanced Cockpit control concept, the 911 interior has never been so focused. Typical sports car: the buttons, which have been consciously kept as analog buttons, offer direct access to essential drive and chassis functions.

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including online navigation is your central control center for audio, navigation and communication as well as for a variety of assistance systems. The latest generation also features a new display and operating concept.

Built for the road that never ends. Every 911 has the same fundamental aim: driving. As sportily as possible. That's why the twin-turbo horizontally opposed engine, the transmission, the chassis, the brakes and all the control systems are designed for one thing: the highest performance.

Engine

The engine of the 911 models has a twin-turbo configuration. Its stand-out qualities: exceptional power across the speed range, extraordinarily direct responsiveness and a wide torque plateau, even at low speeds. The horizontally opposed construction, with its short length, low height and position in the vehicle rear allows for a low center of gravity. The engine mounts near the center of the car ensure greater stability and fewer vibrations.

The engines have two turbochargers and charge-air cooling. It's an important element of the exhaust turbocharging and greatly contributes to simultaneously increasing performance and reducing emissions.

Transmission

The 8-speed Porsche Ooppelkupplung (POK) enables incredibly swift gear changes without interrupting the flow of power - in milliseconds. POK combines a very sporty tuning in first to sixth gear with efficient overdrive ratios (seventh and eighth gear).

All-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) optimally distributes drive force between the permanently driven rear axle and the front axle. For excellent drive and an incredibly harmonious handling right at the limits.

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is a system intended to improve driving dynamics and stability. It works with a precise application of the brakes on the rear wheels and a rear differential lock. For increased stability, outstanding traction and high agility at any speed.

Chassis Systems

More - of everything. The chassis systems optimize the vehicle features of the 911 and make it even faster, more agile and more comfortable.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is an electronic damping control system that actively and continuously controls the damping force, depending on the road conditions and driving mode, for each individual wheel. For more comfort with increased dynamics.

Porsche Stability Management (PSM) is an automatic control system for helping to maintain stability at the limits of dynamic driving performance. For a high level of driving stability and extraordinary agility at the same time. In conjunction with Sport Chrono Package, PSM is supplemented by a Sport mode. This allows a significantly more sporty driving style, with PSM remaining active in the background.

Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) is an active roll stabilization system. It suppresses lateral body movement when cornering dynamically. For improved dynamic performance, even more neutral handling and increased ride comfort.

Sport Chrono Package

Adrenaline at the push of a button: the Sport Chrono Package with mode switch, Porsche Track Precision app and tire temperature display. Its functions enable an even sportier tuning of the engine, chassis and transmission.

The mode switch allows you to select different driving styles, e.g. increase the driving dynamics, save your personal preferences or aid driving on wet roads. The Sport Response button prepares the engine and transmission for a fast unleashing of power for approx. 20 seconds of maximum responsiveness.
