New Porsche 718 Boxter Los Angeles, CA

With the Porsche 718 Boxster you get luxury, performance, and a top-down experience

There's no denying the beauty of the surrounding areas. Whether you want to get a better view in Beverly Hills traffic or see the stunning yachts docked in Marina Del Rey, you'll be able to do so with the top-down Porsche 718 Boxster! At our Los Angeles Porsche dealership, we have a handful in stock, and you'll love this unique Porsche model that not everyone has.

Like all Porsche models, style is everything, and the brand does a great job balancing performance with seductive aesthetics. For performance, there's side scoop vents, strong brakes, and two impressive engines, which we'll touch on shortly. For style, the Porsche 718 Boxster has the iconic Porsche headlights, rear spoiler that's beautifully integrated into the vehicle for a sporty-meets-classy touch, and big 18-inch wheels that stand out. Structurally, this model is a lot like the Porsche 718 Cayman, with the major difference being that you can take the top off and catch the wind in your face as you roll through West Hollywood or go on a scenic drive in the hills.

We love the cabin of this Porsche model, and compared to others it's a little more pared down, especially when it comes to the buttons and dials. You'll have a nice mix of tactile and touch features to control your luxury performance convertible, but it's a quieter cabin and perfect for shoppers that lean towards the more minimalist side for fashion, home décor, and even their cars. If you want to stand out more, though, we suggest going with any of the leather interiors that offer a two-tone look.

There's the Porsche 718 Boxster (base) and the Porsche 718 Boxster S. The base has an engine that produces 300 horsepower, can get to 60 MPH in 4.9 seconds, and has a top track speed of 170 MPH. Of course, we know Porsche shoppers can be quite discerning - which we love - so if that isn't enough then you can upgrade to the Porsche 718 Boxster S. Instead you'll get 350 horsepower, a 4.4 second time (4 seconds if you get the Sport Chrono Package), and an extra 7 MPH on the track.

Speaking of the Sport Chrono Package, here are the additional, exhilarating features you get when you drive off with this option:

  • A Sport response button
  • Launch control
  • Dynamic transmission mounts

For the true, performance purist, it'd be a near travesty to not get the Sport Chrono addition!

Both models come in rear-wheel drive. It is possible to upgrade to AWD, though it's not entirely necessary thanks to the snow-free Brentwood winters. The model comes as a manual, though if you prefer automatic you can upgrade, as we want anyone with an appreciation for performance and beauty to be able to get behind the wheel of a Porsche 718 Boxster or any new Porsche model we have in stock.

Technology and Amenities

Luxury vehicles truly need to be the full package. They must have great engines and pefromance, impressive looks and quality materials, and technologies that are second to none. Thankfully, Porsche models, like the Porsche 718 Boxster, don't disappoint. The infotainment system is called Porsche Communication Management, and even it has an upscale look thanks to sleek buttons and an easy-to-use system. You can also access Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, or link your Apple Watch up to the PCM so you can see all your appointments right away.

For added convenience, we love the premium audio options from Bose® or Burmester®, navigation so you can drive around in aimless (yet luxurious) style on the weekend to your hearts content while still making it back to the garage at night, the adaptive LED lights, and power seating that can be adjusted up to 14-ways.
