2021 Porsche TaycanPerformance
Two battery options are available on the Taycan and Taycan 4S trims in 2021 ― a standard performance battery and a performance battery plus ― each equipped with overboost mode with launch control to enhance power output. The 800-volt system on the 2021 Taycan, a first for Porsche, produces up to 270 kW in charge power. All models feature innovative two-speed transmission.
The 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S offer all-wheel drive. Launching later in 2021 is a rear-wheel drive version for the base-level Taycan.

Aerodynamically optimized details ― such as the sloping roof and flyline, adaptive rear spoiler, wide rear diffuser, underbody paneling, and vertical air intakes near the front wheels ― influence the elegant yet functional design of the 2021 Porsche Taycan. Two roof options are also available: a panoramic fixed glass roof and a contoured design made of lightweight aluminum.
